Hold onto your flying mounts, fellow WoW players, because Blizzard just dropped a surprise on us! Originally scheduled for Patch 10.1, flying in Battle for Azeroth (BfA) is now available in Patch 10.0.7.
Blizzard previously made flying in BfA exclusive to players who completed two challenging achievements and built up their reputation with nine factions. But now, the skies are open to all!
No one knows what inspired this change, but we suspect that the upcoming Dragonflight season two featuring two BfA dungeons may have played a part. This season will also include other exciting dungeons, such as Neltharion’s Lair from Legion and Vortex Pinnacle from Cataclysm.
This surprise release is great news for mount hunters and transmog collectors looking to explore the hostile terrains of Kul’Tiras and Zandalar. So, grab your mounts and take to the skies!
